A Sucker For Kate & Kacey & Corona!!!

Kate & Kacey Coppola are no strangers to Yahoo! Music or even this blog. When we first shone the spotlight on the duo, we focused on their casual visit to the Y! Music headquarters and their beef with Naomi Judd with the headline, "Kate And Kacey Take On Naomi Judd!!!!" Looking back, I realize that was a bit sensational. Perhaps I should have gone with three exclamation points instead of four. Whatever the case, a few months later I realize that Kate & Kacey don't need a beef with matriarch of modern country music to make headlines. They can make it on their own with nothing but their talent, sweet harmonies, and incredibly good looks. On their first visit to Yahoo! Music HQ, the gals did an impromptu performance that was shot guerilla-style, but we liked 'em so much we invited them back for a professional studio shoot. Check out this performance of "Love On You" from that session.
Since Kate & Kacey's first visit to Y! Music, the duo has been quite busy. They've already hosted a few dates of the Corona Sun City Tailgate Experience at Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival Tour and will continue to do so on dates throughout the summer. That sounds great to me because I like Corona. In fact, I just bought a 12-pack of Corona Light the other day, because I, like Kate & Kacey and Naomi Judd, must watch my figure.
Aside from hosting Corona-sponsored tailgate parties, Kate & Kacey also recently chalked up a career milestone by appearing on the Grand Ole Opry, the show that made country music famous, at--wouldn't you know it--the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. Kate & Kacey were so excited about appearing at the Opry, they reportedly jumped up and down and screamed. I hope you've view this performance of "Whole Lotta Gone" and the pair's exclusive Yahoo! Music interview with equal enthusiasm.

These girls are the real deal! I love the way they make you feel like you could be BFF's with them... So refreshing. I know in my gut these girls are going to be the next big female act in country. You go girls!
