The four original members of the iconic punk band—singer John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten), guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock—will come together for a onetime concert marking the 30th anniversary of their only studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.

The show is scheduled to take place Nov. 8 at London's Brixton Academy. Tickets go on sale Friday.

"Maybe it's because we're all Londoners, but there would be no Sex Pistols without dear old London town," Lydon told nme.com on Tuesday of the band's decision to play the British capital.

"See you all at Brixton with proper feelings and proper people all around. From London Bridge to the Rose and Crown, all of Britain is welcome, so come on down."

Originally released in 1977 and considered one of the most influential albums in rock history, Never Mind the Bollocks will also be reissued in honor of the anniversary, while the band's classic single, "God Save the Queen," will be rereleased on seven-inch vinyl.

After spearheading the punk movement of the '70s, the Sex Pistols split up in 1978, later reuniting for shows in 1996 and 2002. They last played together live in 2003, as part of their three-week Piss Off tour of the United States.

Sid Vicious, who replaced Matlock as bassist during the band's most notorious phase, died in 1979 of a drug overdose.

The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, but the surviving members showed their disdain for the honor by refusing to attend the ceremony.

"They never cared who we were," Lydon said at the time. "They never bothered to correct the incredible fatal, bad mistakes about our legend and legacy in their museum and up until now, they've rejected our nomination for three years running, and now they want a piece of us."

They may not have been willing to share themselves with the Rock Hall, but the Pistols are  prepared to give the fans what they want.
