Shedaisy Joins Reese Witherspoon On The Red Carpet

(9/24/02, 5 p.m. ET) -- Shedaisy spent Monday night (September 23) on the red carpet for the New York City movie premiere of the new Reese Witherspoon movie, Sweet Home Alabama. With their current single, "Mine All Mine," featured in the film, the sisters were hoping on adding some serious star power to the video for the song, which she recently filmed in Zuma Beach, California.

Before Monday's (September 23) premiere, Kelsi Osborn told LAUNCH, "When we decided to shoot the video, we were trying to get her (Witherspoon) personally involved to come and do the shoot with us, but her schedule was so crazy that is was really hard to get her, and our schedule at the same time, it was so busy so was really hard. But I hope at the premiere, we'll get the opportunity to meet her, 'cause I would love to, you know, just even tell her what a great job she did in the movie and we're glad that we could be a part of it with her."

The trio also performed for the premiere party's attendees after the special showing.

Shedaisy's "Mine All Mine" fits into the film as the credits roll. Osborn shared with LAUNCH, "They're planning on putting it at the end. I guess they're gonna play like 20, 30 seconds of 'Sweet Home Alabama,' the song, and Jewel cut that version and they're gonna play some of her at the end and then they want to play our song in its entirety at the end of the movie."

"Mine All Mine," co-written by the group's Kristyn Osborn, sits at Number 28 this week on Billboard''s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. -- Nancy Brooks, Nashville
