& Shawn Colvin Join Chris Botti At Special L.A. Show

(12/4/01, 6 p.m. ET) -- International superstar Sting was set to be one of the special guests at the Chris Botti & Friends concert last night (December 3) at Los Angeles's El Rey Theater. Trumpet player Botti, whose current CD Night Sessions hit the market October 30, has been part of Sting's touring band for the last three years.

Sting was slated to join Botti in performing "In The Wee Small Hours" during the show. Also set to appear was singer Shawn Colvin, who performs the Sting-penned tune "All Would Envy" on Botti's CD.

The Chris Botti & Friends show was taped by DirecTV for a concert special to be aired in February.
