The special airs from 6:30 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET on Monday (December 31), and will be anchored by Peter Jennings live from New York City from the Rose Center For Earth And Space at the American Museum of Natural History. It will feature New Year's Eve celebrations and reports from across the globe from such locations as London, Rio, Moscow, Jerusalem, and Capetown.
Joining Jennings at the Rose Center and from around the world will be ABC news correspondents, newsmakers, entertainers, and other special guests for the special year-end broadcast to share stories, thoughts and hopes for 2002. Also included will be special reports from Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Deer Valley, Utah, Washington, D.C., St. Paul, Minnesota, Edinburgh, Scotland, Afghanistan, Pakistan and of course, New York's Times Square.
