Sting To Perform 'Kate & Leopold' Song At The Oscars

(3/4/02, 4 p.m. ET) -- The producers of the Academy Awards show have announced that international pop star Sting will perform on this year's show. Sting will perform "Until ...," from the film Kate & Leopold, which has been nominated in the best original song category.
This is the second time that Sting has performed on the Oscar telecast. Last year he sang "My Funny Friend And Me" from The Emperor's New Groove, for which he was also nominated in the original song category.
The 74th Annual Academy Awards will be presented March 24 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The show will be carried live on ABC-TV.
