Sting's New Album 'Sacred Love' Due In September
Yahoo! Music, May 20, 2003 3:00 pm PDT(5/20/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- Sting's new album, Sacred Love--his first studio effort since 1999's Brand New Day--will be released September 22 internationally and on September 23 in the U.S.
The first single from the set "Send Your Love" will hit radio in July.
The album was produced by Sting and longtime Sting keyboardist and producer Kipper. The recording was completed in Paris in April.
Among the tracks on the album is a duet with Mary J. Blige titled, "Whenever I Say Your Name."
The A&E channel will air a program on the making of the album in early October, according to the singer's official website.
In conjunction with the album release, Sting and his band recorded a DVD featuring the new music at the historic Mayan Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The DVD is also due in October.
