Nugent told LAUNCH he's got several of rock's heavy hitters lined up for collaborations on the forthcoming Spitfire Records release. "I'm collaborating with some awesome talent: Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, hopefully [Metallica frontman] James Hetfield and I will get together, that maniac from Green Day, he's so good, yeah, Billie Joe! Billie Joe and Uncle Ted! We're going to jam on some black music. And [Aerosmith's] Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. I'm writing a bunch of songs with a bunch of different people, even though I've got so many already. But I'd just like to see what they can bring to it, you know?"
Nugent added that the project is still in the works, but that it'll be out "this next winter, unlikely before Christmas."
