Tom Jones and P. Diddy join Diana concert line-up

Tom Jones and P. Diddy are the latest artists to be added to the bill for the July 1 concert to mark the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death, organizers announced on Wednesday.

They will be joined by Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, Will Young and Supertramp's Roger Hodgson.

The additions are a further reflection of the tastes of the late princess and her two sons William and Harry, who devised the event.

Other names already signed up for the Wembley stadium gig in London include Elton John, Duran Duran, Bryan Ferry, Joss Stone, Lily Allen, Kanye West, James Morrison and Take That.

In recognition of Diana's love of ballet and musicals, the concert will also include a performance by the English National Ballet and a medley specially devised by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The princes said when announcing the concert last December that they intended it to be both a celebration of their mother's life and a commemoration of her achievements.

The concert, which will be one of the first events to take place in the new stadium, will be broadcast live to millions of viewers in more than 140 countries worldwide.

Both the princes are expected to make a stage appearance during the five-hour event.

The concert is being held on what would have been Diana's 46th birthday.

"It's got to be the best birthday present she ever had," Prince William said in a statement.

In addition to the concert, there will be a church memorial service for Diana, who died after a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.

Proceeds from the concert will go to charities supported by the late princess, and to charities of which the princes are patrons.
