Train Maps Out Full Fall Tour

Yahoo! Music, Sep 15, 2003 4:00 pm PDT
(9/15/03, 4 p.m. ET) -- Train has fleshed out the dates to the second leg of the My Private Nation tour. The group, which played two shows over the weekend, will take the next several weeks off before heading back out on the road October 2 for a show in Portland, Maine.

It will be interesting how Train doesn't run out of steam by the end of their tour. The California-based band is scheduled to play 14 shows over the course of 15 nights.

Train's "Calling All Angels," off their MU album, holds onto the Number 19 spot on this week's Billboard Hot 100.

In a recent press release, lead singer Pat Monahan reveals he "thinks there's nothing better than a love song except a love song that has humor in it." He adds that he was "inspired by a lyric writer named Johnny Mercer who wrote songs like 'Jeepers Creepers' and also 'Moon River.'"
