Train To Offer Fans Custom CDs

Yahoo! Music, Feb 21, 2003 1:00 pm PST
(2/21/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- Train and its label, Columbia Records, have set up an Internet site that allows fans to make their own custom CDs of the groups music. Users can select up to 12 tracks or 78 minutes of music from a library from Train's Columbia Records catalog, including the hits "Meet Virginia," "Drops Of Jupiter," "I Am," and "Something More." Fans can also select from several live versions of the groups songs, as well as covers and rarities.

Fans can sample the songs before committing them to the disc, and they can also choose their own CD cover from a selection of artwork. Once finished, the CDs will be mailed to buyers.

To make your own custom Train CD, or for more information, go to custommixcd.com/train. The discs cost $15, plus shipping and any applicable taxes.
