According to Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, the film is about a bitter employee who gets fired and seeks vengeance by putting a curse on the tour. A tour spokesperson said that numerous acts will make appearances, and some might even get "killed off" in the flick.
Lyman plans to enjoy this year's festival, saying, "We're trying to have fun and remind ourselves that it 's a business, but to have a lot of fun this year."
Acts performing on the Vans Warped Tour include: 2 Cents, Mad Caddies, Mest, Glassjaw, Suicide Machines, Andrew W.K., Bowling For Soup, the Used, Simple Plan, Poison The Well, A.F.I., Tsunami Bomb, the Ataris, Thrice, Rancid, Less Than Jake, Dropkick Murphys, and Face To Face.
The Warped Tour kicked off June 19 in Boise, Idaho, and will travel throughout the summer ending on August 10 in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
