Champaign, IL-based Walter Meego were started by members Justin Sconza, Colin Yarck, and Pat Pelligrini in 2001. With a blend of styles including funk, electro, experimental techno, and free jazz, the group released its eponymous debut EP in 2004. As the group became busier, Pelligrini left and was replaced by Jarrett Speigel.
