(10/10/01, 7 a.m. ET) -- Warren G recently released "Lookin' At You" as the first single from his fourth album, Return Of The Regulator, due November 20 on Universal Records. The song is produced by Dr. Dre, Warren's half brother, and features guest vocals from LaToiya Williams, who has appeared on records with Snoop Doggand Doggy's Angels.
Warren tells LAUNCH that Dr. Dre took his time working on the song to assure that it was done right. "The first single with Dre was off the hook. It took us a while to finish it because Dre is such a work-a-holic, and a (perfectionist). You know, he wanted to make sure it was trump tight. It came out tight. Toiy came in there, we worked with her, wrote her parts and stuff, and coached her through it. Her voice is incredible. The whole song just came out tight. It was Warren G., Dr. Dre in full effect with Toiy on the hook."
Warren's last album, I Want It All, was released in 1999.
